Therefore, LitWorld is focused on communities in need of literacy support, and specifically, targeting teachers who reach the most vulnerable children. Currently, LitWorld works with teachers in Kenya and Liberia, through partnerships with the Children of Kibera Foundation and Youth Action International.

We created this library so that families in Loveland, Colorado could have one more fun thing to do! All the books in this library were written by Mrs. Lauterbach’s literacy class. We took all our own pictures and wrote books that we thought would be fun to read. Also, we are including our book files so that you can use them as story-starters. All you have to do is download the free software, install it, then download one of our books that you would like to modify.

The Adams 50 Library offers books created by the students, staff, and volunteers. The district’s RealeBook Initiative purpose is to increase access to literacy for all Adams 50 students and families. School-wide and classroom book cycles are completed through the process of creation, production, distribution, and reading of RealeBooks. This active learning practice helps to motivate a student’s intrinsic interest and passion to become an autonomous reader and writer. We hope you enjoy our library collection!
